25 NOVEMBER, 2021: MY BIRTHDAY THOUGHTS
MAKING FRIEND WITH AN ANGEL ON ASSIGNMENT: A CAUSE OF REAL HUMAN FRUSTRATION.
Real human frustration comes when we seek to make friend with a angel on assignment.
Life is too delicate to be taken too serious.
Life is too precious to be toiled with.
Life is too holy to be trivialized.
Life is too slippery for too much attachment.
Life is all *RELATIONSHIP* .
Our real frustration comes when we mistake an angel for a friend.
We are inviting chronic pain when we seek lasting friendship with an angel on special assignment.
These are obedient servants who must return to give report or take up other assignments.
Oftentimes, their departure leave us with suspicion, doubt, malice, prejudice and pain.
Has anyone poison his or her mind against me?
He or she is no longer forthcoming as usual.
Many bizarre thoughts rush into our minds.
These angels often come as colleagues at work, church members, hostel mates, teachers, etc.
A times, they come to teach us some bitter lessons and we call them enemies.
Though our guardian angels are on special duties in our lives, there are some angels whose job is to deliver a message and off they go.
How long they accomplish their assignment is left to our power of discernment.
A second, a minute, an hour
A day, a week, a month.
A year, or more,
left to the nature of the job to be done.
We need the grace to keep our angels;
Lest by own manners we dismiss them prematurely.
In life, we will meet friends, who will always be there to share in our pains and joys.
In life, we can be fortunate to meet angels who God had sent to open us up to new seasons of his plans for us.
Who is a friend?
Who is an angel?
Don’t mistake an acquittance for an angel, lest you become your own enemy.
Don’t make a stranger your friend, lest you dig your own grave.
The day you meet your friend,
The very day you recognise your angels,
You will begin to translate who others are to you.
Then your life begins.
Jesus, my best friend;
May I be true friend of yours.
In joy or pain, may I see your face.
Dear messengers of God sent to lift me,
kindly tolerate my manners.
Me, too love sweet moments.
You can leave but gently.
As I thank God for the gift of my life,
Thanks for being there.
Thanks for being my friends.
Thanks for being my angels.
I owe you love
I owe you my prayers.
Be blessed in Jesus name. Amen.
