Generosity is a gift. Giving out gifts does not mean that we are generous. At times, we give gifts simply to cement a relationship. Some give gifts to buy others over. Some give to steal loyalty. Some use it as means of reciprocating a gesture. Naming our price is to know our worth, so that we are not easily bought over. Generosity has to do with empathy, coming to the aid of those in need, feeling the pain of others. And meeting their needs for succour.
Pray to be generous
Don’t allow yourself to be bought over.
Dear one, as you face the daily realities of your life, May God’s love burn in your heart for others, and may you not fall for mere crumbs.
