THEME: HOW THE TRUTH SETS US FREE

Many of us today are stuck in our life pursuit because of ignorance or half-baked knowledge. some have put limitations on themselves by condemning the path that would have led them to the higher level. It takes wisdom to study how God works in people and in the events around us. This helps us to know our best approach to them. It is dangerous to condemn what we don’t know or criticize what we do not understand.

Miriam and Aaron voiced their criticism against Moses, and in response, God afflicted them with leprosy. They said, “Has the Lord spoken to Moses only? Has he not spoken to us too?’ In anger, they Lord said to them, “Listen now to my words: If any man among you is a prophet I make myself known to him in a vision, I speak to him in a dream. Not so with my servant Moses: he is at home in my house; I speak with him face to face, plainly and not in riddles, and he sees the form of the Lord. How then have you dared to speak against my servant Moses?”

We should pray that we do not offend the wrong people by our ignorance.

Walking on the sea, the disciples thought that Jesus was a ghost, but the moment he made himself known to them, Peter developed the courage to join him. Unfortunately, he began to sink as soon as he felt the force of the wind. He was afraid.

Mere knowledge of the truth is insufficient; we must wholeheartedly embrace it and be willing to take risks in its pursuit. It is then it will set us free.

May the truth set us free through Christ our Lord. Amen.
