HOMILY OF TUESDAY IN THE 24TH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME YEAR A
1 Timothy 3:1-13, Luke 7:11-17
THEME: THE VISIT OF GOD
It takes man to reveal God. We make him present by what we do or say. We simply need to pray that we can recognize him whenever he works among us.
In today’s gospel, when Jesus restored life to the only son of the widow in Nain, “Everyone was filled with awe and praised God saying, ‘A great prophet has appeared among us; God has visited his people.”
Let us submit ourselves to God, that he may make use of us.
By our words and actions, may God be made visible to his people through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.
